My eyelids keep on closing
Despite my efforts to keep from dozing
The more I try to keep my eyes wide open
The drowsiness leads my jaw to drop wide open
No matter how hard I stretch out my arms
I feel Dreamland calling to me with it’s charms
It seems that any minute now I’ll fall asleep
I don’t even have time to count some sheep.
